When one thinks of yoga, often they have images of hipsters, topknots and being twisted into a pretzel…

Despite this stereotype, there are many things about yoga and it’s positive attributes (not only to your physical health, but also your mindset).

Led by yoga Guru, Shanti McAllister the team worked through a range of moves from the child’s pose, the mountain pose, right through to (a very wobbly) tree pose. After stretching limbs and releasing emotional tension, it was time to return to work with a new found ‘Yogi mindset’, a rush of positive endorphins and an afterglow of gratitude for having taken the time out of the busy day to learn to be in the present moment.

It’s no secret that the workplace and personal life can often be stressful and often the two can easily become intertwined. Instil firmly believes in restoring the work/life balance, and a little bit of Yoga has proven to be a good place to start.
