In this BASH we will be exploring compiled languages that now transpile to JavaScript and hence can be combined with SPA frameworks like React and Angular. Three speakers will present similar Web Apps written using different languages and frameworks.
The speakers will be:
- Eamonn Boyle demonstrating F# and Fable
- Richard Gibson demonstrating Scala and Slinky
- Garth Gilmour demonstrating Kotlin.js
At the end there will be an open debate about the merits of these technologies and the future of development in the browser in general. This event will be generously sponsored by Liberty IT, who will be providing burritos and beverages.
