Today we're launching a free public beta for our newest product Dependaroo!
Dependaroo is an extension for Bitbucket which allows teams to detect dependency drift in their Git repositories and automatically apply upgrades to ensure applications remain secure and compliant. The beta contains support for Gradle (Groovy and Kotlin scripts), Maven and NPM plus we'll be adding to this list in the coming weeks and months.
Longer term, we're going to be building on our core platform to allow us to provide customers with meaningful insights into their codebases along with detecting security vulnerabilities or commercially unfriendly open source licenses. You can find out more from our public roadmap.
The beta is currently only available for Bitbucket Cloud but Bitbucket Server and Data Center support is not far behind.
