Now in its 5th year, the Commercial UAV show is one of the most important events for worldwide drone manufacturers and promises to bring big plans for the UAV industry in 2018.
Running over a two-day period, the show will consist of two events: a world –class conference focused on the progression of the UAV industry; and, a technology exhibition showcasing the latest hardware and software innovations from the mega tech companies to the latest start-ups.
The Instil team will be showcasing the Surge product, a software library which enables mobile and desktop software applications to handle live video streams (from drones, IP cameras etc.). One of the main features of Surge is its ability to efficiently handle multiple concurrent streams as well as other benefits including:
- Hardware decoding support for Android and iOS (improved performance and reduced battery drain)
- Simple API makes it easy to integrate into client applications
- Friendly licensing (non- GPL) to ease app store distribution
Instil will be stationed at stand 88a for the duration of the event (15th – 16th Nov) and to visit the show is free.
